Direct showdown for the lead vs. La Laguna Tenerife at the Roig Arena

Valencia Basket men's team wraps up a stretch of five games in ten days by hosting La Laguna Tenerife (Sunday 16th, 12:30 pm, Roig Arena, DAZN) in a direct showdown for the top spot in the Liga Endesa between the first- and second-ranked teams, corresponding to the ACB’s seventh round. 

The “taronja” squad will once again count on the support of their fans in the first of a series of four consecutive games at the Roig Arena, in a clash between the two best offensive teams in the competition, who also share the lead in many attack-related statistics.

This will be the first time the two teams meet again since last season’s Liga Endesa semifinals, with the most recent precedents favoring the Valencia side. Coach Pedro Martínez will have all fifteen of his professional players available, pending the recovery of big man Matt Costello from an illness that kept him out of Thursday’s game in Paris. 

Valencia Basket enters this seventh round of the Liga Endesa in first place with a 5–1 record.
